Isopulegol

Isopulegol is a monocyclic monoterpene alcohol with two main enantiomers. Isopulegol has many possible isomers due to its three asymmetric carbon atoms. There are two enantiomers for each: iso-isopulegol, neo-isopulegol, and neo-iso-isopulegol. Isopulegol is a precursor to menthol, commonly used in medicinal and cosmetic products.
