CT Cultivar Catalog
The CT Cultivar Catalog aims to reduce confusion by organizing the tracking of cultivars and product names in the CT market. Many of the lineages found in other dispensaries may need to be corrected due to misinformation from the producer or the internet. The information in this catalog is closely researched, reviewed, and revised upon clarifications. See below for notations.
Understanding The Catalog
The CT Cultivar Catalog is an actively evolving database of cultivars, or strains, in the Connecticut Market. This catalog displays cultivars released in Connecticut that are believed to be "active" until otherwise noted by the producer or not grown within the last two (2) years.
This catalog displays information regarding:
The Producer who released the cultivar
The DCP-approved Medical Brand Name
The Cultivar name - strain, or "street name"
The Producer's nick-name or abbreviation, if any
The type of cultivar as categorized by Producer
The lineage of the Cultivar
Common designations:
{} = Order of operations to designate the order of breeding in lineage
[] = To group a lineage for clarity of designations
** = To designate a specific cut of a cultivar
BX = Backcross, where the subsequent number is the magnitude of backcrossing, if known
IX = Inbreed-cross, where the subsequent number is the magnitude of inbreeding, if known
F = Filial, or crossbreeding, where the subsequent number indicates the filial generation (Ex. F1, F2, F3)
S = Selfing, or feminized inbreeding, where the plant pollinates itself. (Ex. S1, S2, S3)
